Our products are artfully crafted unique pieces. Due to hand manufacturing and natural material variations, they may vary slightly in size, color and shape.

Material: cotton
We use cotton from local farmers in Java for our products. The cotton fields are naturally fertilized and the cotton bolls are picked by hand. The cotton is then separated from the capsule in a ginning machine. The cotton obtained is pressed into bales, combed and spun into yarn by hand. After the yarn is spun in this way, the artisans process it by hand on traditional wooden looms. Cotton is characterized by its absorbency and skin-friendliness. Our cotton is not chemically processed and is therefore not suitable for the tumble dryer. The products should be ironed at low temperatures.

This rug is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories where we source our goods, we only work with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process causes hardly any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
