• 55 or 65 cm diameter, 29 cm high
• Robust cover made of raffia, filled with cotton and coconut fibers
• perfect as a comfortable, decorative seat
The round Telu pouf is available in two sizes and can be used as additional seating or as a leg rest in your living room. With its low height, it is also very suitable for children - cozy reading hours are guaranteed.
It is made of bast fibers patiently woven by skilled craftsmen with the help of their hands and fine needles, and is filled with cotton and coconut fibers. The production process of the stool is very lengthy due to the large surface area and fine material, but the wait is definitely worth it with such an incredibly comfortable and soft result.
Please also note our other offers - in our shop you will find many different baskets, home accessories and bags made from sustainable materials under fair production conditions.

Mass weight:
Diameter x height:
-55x29cm; 2.55kg
-65x29cm; 4.00kg
Our products are artfully crafted unique pieces. Due to hand manufacturing and natural variations in materials, they may vary slightly in size, color and shape.

Main material: raffia
Our poufs are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.
Bast (Corypha utan) occurs naturally in the steppe and forest areas of Southeast Asia. The plant renews its leaves about every two years and sheds the old ones, which are then collected by people, dried in the sun for a few days to weeks and, depending on the desired degree of browning, made into wickerwork. The relative rarity and the higher processing effort make this material slightly more expensive compared to other plant fibers. While it is hardly known in Europe, the material has proven itself in Southeast Asia among the local population in the form of all kinds of everyday objects and is very popular due to its pleasantly soft but robust texture.
Filling: cotton & coconut fiber

This stool is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories from which we source our goods, we only work with adult and experienced craftsmen. No harmful chemicals are used in production. Since all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process causes hardly any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
